🚀 What's New in Version 1.19
1. Introducing Dynamic Tab Grouping
Managing a large number of open tabs just got a whole lot easier! With Tab Grouping, you can now automatically organize your tabs into groups based on domains or custom regex rules, all with a single click.
How It Works:
- Automatic Grouping: Tabs can now be grouped automatically based on their domain or your custom rules.
- Custom Regex Rules: Create smart tab groups using regex patterns. For example, you can group all work-related tabs like
*.company.com. - Sorting & Cleanup Tools: Easily sort groups, close duplicate tabs, and suspend inactive ones.
- Auto-Collapse Groups: Keep things tidy by having unfocused tab groups collapse automatically.
📌 Access this feature anytime from the Side Panel! You can open it there for quick tab organization.

🔄 How to Update the Extension
Make sure you're using the latest version of Octab by following these steps:
- Open Chrome and click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to More Tools > Extensions.
- Toggle on Developer mode in the top-right corner.
- Click the Update button to get the latest version of Octab.
